St. John's held a unique fund raiser on Saturday, March 21, 2009. The White Rose production company came into the church to perform "Clay's Revenge". The production was part murder-mystery and part comedy. The cast was very talented and did a great job working the crowd. Prior to the show the guests enjoyed a hot meal provided by A&L Catering and some PA Dutch staples, like pickled cabbage. During the intermission, there were tables full of desserts to chose from. The response to this fund raiser was very positive and it might be re-booked in the future. All the proceeds from the event went toward the church's 175th Anniversary Fund. Thank you to everyone who came out to support the church.
